What the White House Wants to Hide

What exactly is so sensitive that the Bush White House wants to keep hidden within CIA files of extracting information from terror suspects? The answer may be found in the following excerpt from my book “The Terror Conspiracy,” written in 2002 and finally published in full in 2006:

In the days following September 11, many major media pundits correctly pointed out that a ragtag bunch of fanatics could not have successfully pulled off the large-scale and well-coordinated attacks by themselves. They must have had the sponsorship of some state, they argued. It was this rationale that provided the foundation argument for the subsequent attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq.

One captured al Qaeda chief may have provided a startling answer to the question of who actually provided state sponsorship for the 9/11 attacks—most likely working hand-in-hand with cosponsors in the US as well as other US-connected foreign intelligence agencies including the Israeli Mossad and/or the Pakistani ISI (i.e., the Mossad and the ISI being the central intelligence agency equivalent in each country).

This “smoking gun” case links al Qaeda directly to Saudi Arabia. It came to light in late March 2002, with the capture of Abu Zubaydah in a middle-class suburb of the Pakistani city of Faisalabad. On April 2, 2002, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer described Zubaydah as the most senior member of al Qaeda captured to that point and stated, “He will be interrogated about his knowledge of ongoing plans to conduct terrorist activities. This represents a serious blow to al Qaeda.”

But instead it appears to have been a serious blow to the Saudis. According to a new book by Gerald Posner entitled Why America Slept, Zubaydah turned out to be tightly connected with ranking Saudis, including members of the royal family.

Posner, a noted debunker of JFK assassination conspiracies, supported the official version of pre-9/11 intelligence failures in this new book, arguing that despite all the tax dollars spent, federal agencies simply couldn’t connect the dots. Posner has admitted being close to friendly CIA sources, which make his ensuing revelations that much more shocking.

According to Posner, when attempts to pry information out of Zubaydah with drugs failed, the al Qaeda chief was flown to an Afghan facility remodeled to look like a Saudi jail cell. Two Arab American Special Forces operatives, disguised as Saudis, then confronted Zubaydah. The idea was to scare him into revealing al Qaeda secrets. Recall that al Qaeda reportedly detests the Saudi royalty.

Yet, when faced by the faked Saudi interrogators, Zubaydah expressed relief rather than fear, according to Posner. He seemed genuinely happy to see them and offered them telephone numbers for ranking Saudi officials. One number was for Saudi Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, a westernized nephew of Saudi King Fahd and a equestrian whose horse, War Emblem, won the 2002 Kentucky Derby. Zubaydah said Prince Aziz would vouch for him and give the interrogators instructions. The disguised Americans were shocked to find the unlisted Saudi numbers valid.

The Saudi Arabian-born al Qaeda leader then proceeded to outline his Saudi connections. He explained that one such contact in Saudi Arabia was intelligence chief Prince Turki al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, who met with Osama bin Laden in 1991 and agreed to provide bin Laden with funds in exchange for his pledge not to promote a jihad war in Saudi Arabia. He said his royal Saudi contacts operated through Pakistani Air Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir, a man with close ties to Muslims inside Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The ISI has long been suspected of providing al Qaeda with arms and supplies. And according to Posner, this convoluted pipeline was blessed by the Saudis. Zubaydah went on to claim that 9/11 did nothing to change the relationships between the Saudis, Pakistanis, and al Qaeda. He claimed that while both Prince Ahmed and Mir knew in advance of the attacks, they did not know the specific targets. They also would have been hesitant to reveal their secret agreements. Posner also noted that not long after Zubaydah’s revelations were passed along to the Saudis, the men mentioned by Zubaydah all died within days of each other. Prince Ahmed died of a heart attack at age 43 on July 22, 2002, while two princes, Sultan bin Faisal bin Turki al-Saud and Fahd bin Turki bin Saud al Kabir both were killed in car wrecks within a week of each other. Pakistani Air Marshal Mir died in a plane crash during clear weather. Posner told Time the deaths, most convenient to anyone desiring to keep the Saudi–Pakistani–al Qaeda axis hidden, “may in fact be coincidences.” [Posner quote: Ibid.]

Despite this remarkable information tying al Qaeda to Saudi royals and Pakistani intelligence published in a major US news magazine, very little of such coverage has made its way to the American public.

With the confession of the top al Qaeda chief, it becomes abundantly clear why the Bush White House wants this information kept from the public. People might begin to wonder about the close business and social connections between the Saudis and the bin Laden family in particular and the Bush family. After all, someone in high authority allowed bin Laden family members to fly across the US during the “no fly” period following the 9/11 attacks. Such authority had to come from the White House.

Who’s afraid of Sibel Edmonds (and why?)

Sibel Edmonds, a former translator for the FBI who listened in on hundreds of telephone intercepts has now told the London Times that several top U.S. government officials conspired with foreign agents to steal U.S. nuclear secrets and sell them on the black market: Edmonds described how foreign intelligence agents had enlisted the support of U.S. officials to acquire a network of moles in sensitive military and nuclear institutions. Among the hours of covert tape recordings, she says she heard evidence that one well-known senior official in the U.S. State Department was being paid by Turkish agents in Washington who were selling the information on to black market buyers, including Pakistan.. Edmonds said: ‘He was aiding foreign operatives against U.S. interests by passing them highly classified information, not only from the State Department but also from the Pentagon, in exchange for money, position and political objectives.“ She claims that the FBI was also gathering evidence against senior Pentagon officials – including household names – who were aiding foreign agents. ‘If you made public all the information that the FBI have on this case, you will see very high-level people going through criminal trials,” she said.
Edmonds brought all this to the attention of lawmakers, as well as the American media, and several news organizations filed reports – until a federal judge issued an unprecedented gag order. Edmonds’ story was deemed too hot to handle: if the public were allowed to know what she knows, according to our government, America’s national security would be severely impaired. Yet now she is speaking out, and what she has to say is unsettling, to say the least.
Edmonds has named at least one of the officials: he is Marc Grossman, a former U.S. ambassador to Turkey, assistant secretary of state for European affairs under the Clinton administration and undersecretary of state for political affairs from 2001-2005. Grossman is now vice chairman of The Cohen Group, a consulting firm founded by Bill Clinton’s defense secretary, William S. Cohen.
Edmonds contends that an international nuclear smuggling ring, associated with the intelligence agencies of Pakistan, Turkey, and Israel, has been permitted to operate in the U.S. with impunity. Our government, she claims, knew all about it yet, in order to placate the foreign governments involved, allowed a vast criminal enterprise to carry out its activities, including money laundering, narcotics trafficking, and espionage involving efforts to steal U.S. nuclear technology. Thousands of hours of intercepted calls revealed a network of moles placed in various military installations and academic venues dealing with nuclear technology. Edmonds gives us the details, via the Times:
“Edmonds says there were several transactions of nuclear material every month, with the Pakistanis being among the eventual buyers. ‘The network appeared to be obtaining information from every nuclear agency in the United States,’ she said.
“They were helped, she says, by the high-ranking State Department official [Grossman] who provided some of their moles – mainly Ph.D. students – with security clearance to work in sensitive nuclear research facilities. These included the Los Alamos nuclear laboratory in New Mexico, which is responsible for the security of the U.S. nuclear deterrent.”
And “while the FBI was investigating,” says Edmonds, “several arms of the government were shielding what was going on.” An entire wing of the national security bureaucracy, associated with the neoconservatives, has long profited from representing Turkish interests in Washington: this group includes not only Grossman, but also Paul Wolfowitz, chief intellectual architect of the Iraq war and ex-World Bank president; former deputy defense secretary for policy Douglas J. Feith; Feith’s successor, Eric Edelman; and Richard Perle, the notorious uber-neocon whose unique ability to mix profiteering and warmongering forced him to resign his official capacity as a key administration adviser. More sinister is that many of these neoconservatives retain dual citizenship. Americans would never stand for the second country being Iran or the Emirates, but in this case it is Israel. Does anybody see anything wrong with that picture? Are there in fact two sets of standards? Is it strange that there is preponderance of dual citizenship among members of the executive branch and the pentagon? Their appearance in our state department and military affairs seems concurrent with many of the present mysteries. One with a healthy curiosity might possibly connect a dot or two there. Missing trillions from the Pentagon budget, hundreds of foreign spies very close to the events of 911 rounded up and being investigated by the FBI suddenly whisked away to their native land. This is only part of a larger story. Why are all the controls being put in place? Why have free-energy devices been suppressed for over 50 years? How does the shadow government function without regard to law? Why do Christian end-time beliefs drive the policies and actions of those running the shadow government? Is it part of a flawed desire to bring about an Armageddon scenario to herald the return of Jesus Christ? Imagine, our world being destroyed, to further this nonsense. It is mind-boggling.
Obviously as the US seems to be preparing to send troops to Pakistan (US special ops going in is already in the news)....the fact that we allowed them to be armed with nukes is of high interest in today’s news market place. This actually goes all the way back to Reagan and Iran-Contra, so more criminal act are hinted at.
POINT: This is a huge, Byzantine plot that is totally bipartisan and getting appropriate help in the US Congress is not going to be an easy job .. Just look at the coverup over Barksdale and our own (US) mess in handling nukes and then transfer all that happened into a Pakistani context. [As a sidenote, at Fargo, they STILL don’t have enough regulations in place to pass an inspection which has been postponed indefinitely ...) It would seem that the lack of oversight that Sibel has pointed out left a hole that lead to the ISI stranglehold in Pakistan, which many contend lead to the death of Benazir Bhutto. For those new to the Sibel Edmonds story (which is nearly of MYTHIC proportions!), there is a lot of ground to cover now. There are websites to visit, comments to read, and a HUGE plot that stretches over many years to unravel. There is the feeling of pride in Sibel’s struggle to process internally as well as a feeling of relief that certain bloggers have never given up on trying to get the story out there.

Questions to be answered:
Will Sibel finally getting onto the mainstream news record put her at further risk??
Can a Special Prosecutor be found to investigate her claims - who is not already seriously compromised? Henry Waxman, who would be the logical choice to head up hearings cannot be relied on; there are three guesses as to WHY This is... he is being blackmailed, Nancy Pelosi won’t let him, he is too close to AIPAC and the Israeli lobby and it’s officials to allow it.
Why were US business interests put above the interests of the US Citizen when it came to FBI/counterintelligence/counterterrorism translations and investigations pursued??
How do we get more media coverage over the coming weeks?
How does this all relate to Plamegate ?? Valerie Plame was tracking AQ Khan—and how do we get this in as part of an impeachment and war crimes tribunal process!!
Was Pakistan’s nuclear force built up as a way to secure Afghani land to grow poppies for the US drug-dealing syndicates? Or just a diabolical Israeli plan to carve up the Middle East and benefit from Balkanization of the ‘stans??
How is Iran going to react to this news? Afterall, it’s not okay for them to have nukes .. but it IS okay for Israel to facilitate an ARAB nation getting nukes. Iran is NOT arab .. and has been patient with Israel and the United States despite EXTREME provocation ...
Were the FISA-court approved wiretaps aimed at high level officials who just might spill the beans .. as has been alleged??
Over at Sibel’s website, she has published “Sibel Edmonds’ State Secrets Privilege Gallery” - twenty one photos of people.
Sibel doesn’t say anything about the photos - or the people in the photos - but we can reasonably presume that they are the guilty people in her case.

It’s all making sense to me now.

In order to understand anything about American political affairs, it is necessary to have some understanding of who it is that really makes the decisions behind the scenes, and what their interests are. In this way we have some hope of identifying the hidden agendas being served by government actions and programs, and some hope of identifying the longer-term strategies that are in play.
It turns out—and informed people should already know this—that the U.S. is essentially owned and managed by a small clique of wealthy families—the ones who own and control the Federal Reserve. The Rothschilds and their subsidiary, the Rockefellers are the obvious and well-known members of this clique, but there are others less well-known, not all American, and some whose identity remains to this day a carefully guarded secret. We don’t even know exactly who it is that’s running the show.
Such has been the nature of our ‘democracy’ since 1913, when the Federal Reserve Act was snuck through Congress during Christmas recess, by the same folks who funded Woodrow Wilson’s campaign and who became the private owners of the new all-powerful central bank. The first major initiative of these folks, the ancestors of our current ruling clique, was to finance both sides in Europe during World War I, and then to connive the entrance of the US into the war just in time to tilt the balance to the side favored by the clique—the same pattern that later characterized World War II.
From that point forward American policy-making has been firmly in the hands of the original Federal Reserve clique and its descendents. The mainstream media is also under the thumb of the same clique, so that public opinion is never allowed to interfere with fundamental clique objectives. The media can be used to support sitting Presidents, or to undermine them, depending on which best enhances those objectives. No President who has turned on these people has survived long in office, as we saw most recently in the case of JFK. The tentacles of the clique reach also into the top echelons of all the Intelligence services and the Pentagon, and into those influential globalist forums, such as the WTO, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderbergers.
Bush and the neocons have been mere tools-of-the-day for this clique. The neocons happened to be promoting a package that appealed to the clique, that promised to advance some of its objectives. In selecting the neocons to be the drivers behind a new administration, the clique was by no means adopting the neocon philosophy, nor were they buying into the whole PNAC package. They were simply employing a convenient tool that was aligned tactically with clique interests for the time being. Any such tool can be discarded whenever its behavior becomes counter-productive, or when a better tool comes along. There is always a Plan B in the wings for any tool that might go rogue or go sour.
Bush, who has probably never even read the PNAC agenda, was selected for entirely different reasons. Knowing that the agenda would be highly unpopular, the clique decided that defending it logically would be very difficult, even with complete control over the media. An articulate and intelligent President would look like a fool if he tried to defend the insane policies. So, our clique slyly figured, why not put someone up there who is obviously a fool, right through his whole little soul, so that the public will believe they are struggling against the foolishness of one man, and have no understanding of what’s really going on. Of course Bush, being clueless on all matters apart from golf, looting, cocaine, and womanizing, would need to be kept far away from any role in running the White House. Hence the need for Cheney, the shadow real president, who leaves all the photo ops to Bush, who stays out of the public eye himself, and who carries the Black Armageddon Box with him everywhere he goes, something only official Presidents have done in the past
This was the project that went operational in the form of Bush’s initial Presidential campaign. The ducks were all lined up for launching a major imperialist venture, the preparations for 9/11 were well underway, and no power on Earth was going to stop the Bush Show. Of course Bush The Clueless was going to win, no matter how much vote fixing and media lying was required, or how many Supreme Court Justices were needed to accomplish the task. As a last resort they wouldn’t have hesitated to off Gore, one of their own boys, if it was the only way to open the path for their current man, a tactic they used earlier with Bobby Kennedy. Of course now that we have Diebold machines, all of this can be accomplished by a single computer command message, specifying which candidates are to get which percentage of votes in each precinct. Exit polls have been abandoned since they provide hard statistical evidence of the systematic fix.
The neocons have accomplished much for their elite puppeteers, and have been given in return free reign to loot at will, funneling all those billions for the Iraq War into their own corporate coffers and investment portfolios. They for their part have established the foundations of a fascist state in the US and Canada, secured Iraq’s oil reserves, built permanent forward mega-bases in Iraq, successfully destabilized Iraq and prepared it for balkanization, secured pipeline routes in Afghanistan, restored the profitable opium trade, and made progress toward achieving the first-strike capability that will be needed when the time comes to take on Russia and China. Quite a bundle of major achievements in a very short time indeed. We put the foxes in charge of the henhouse, and as expected they ate the chickens. But they weren’t supposed to eat all of them. And now they’re dismantling the structure and selling it on eBay. Something’s gotta give!

Horrible thoughts

I just had a horrible thought. The people who are pulling the strings have invested an enormous amount of money and energy to get where they are now, and they are not likely to give all this up without a whimper simply because a clock is running. And, things in the country and the world are not looking too rosy for them right now. They stand a chance of losing the Presidency in November. Bush has become a liability, and Cheney is too old and too sick to seriously consider a run in '08. However, there is a way...Have Bush assassinated! Make sure we have a few Persian Patsies in place to take the blame. It's brilliant! Cheney becomes the de jure king, Bush is eliminated; the country is outraged. We've got to find out where the rest of them are hiding. Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran so we accept Martial Law and suspension of the elections "temporarily" until we get to the bottom of this. Intern all Moslems like we did to the Japanese during WWII. Suspend the rest of the constitution so that guys like me can no longer write seditious material. Oh, God, it's too unthinkable...or is it?___TF
